Housing -- The photo shows my grandmother on the left with her sister in law, Belle Craig, and my Uncle Jimmy, . One of the inset beds in the living room can be seen (See diagram below) and the advanced system of electrical wiring. |

The diagram shows the layout of 3 Clyde Place, which, no doubt was typical of other homes in the village, although, not every dwelling had two bed rooms. It would appear that the homes had alternately two windows to the front and one to the rear and vice versa. |
